Mechanical Paintings Gallery Video

by selfpaint on October 20, 2011

Pictures taken from my mechanical paintings series. All the works featured used somekind of machine or mechanical object to make marks with. Using random decisions, deciding on colours, placement, brushes etc, the paintings questions the authorship of the artist and investigates the element of chance occurance.

amazing, see if i tried that i’d probably end up making the machines malfunction and then throw it at my older brother and tell him to finish it. he’d then fix the machine make an amazing masterpeice and i’d end up killing him about 3000 times in my head. good for some people but not for everyone. i think i’ll stick to paintbrushes. awsome.
